Our Vision:"Our goal is to grow great quality citrus trees. To provide a faith centered environment that grows healthy trees, healthy relationships, and fosters innovative approaches to the farming tradition.

 

Both our mission and vision came from the legacy passed down by Grandpa Pat. After a long and successful career in the olive farming and packing industry, Gordon Keith Patterson, lovingly known by his family as Grandpa Pat, retired at the age of 78 years old.  In the next few years Grandpa Pat bought several citrus ranches in partnership with Clarence Hill, and also several of his own ranches in the Strathmore/Lindsay area.  

 

In 1991 he formed Patterson Enterprises, which is a limited partnership with his four children and their spouses, consisting of olives, oranges, and five acres of lemons.  

 

Between the years of 2011 and 2016, Our nursery manager, David Mabs, was working at Treesource Citrus Nursery in Woodlake, in citrus propagation and plant health.  As the family business continued to grow, the need for high quality citrus trees became priority, and the vision for GKP Nursery was born.  

 

GKP Nursery was established in 2018 by GKP Enterprises, Inc., to supply quality citrus nursery trees for ourselves and other growers.  Our goal is to grow the highest quality citrus trees available.  Through these values we will honor the farming tradition and the will of Grandpa Pat who is featured in our logo. His commitment to family, faith, and farming is something we will carry on through our business.
